"Absence makes the heart grow fonder", looking at my film photographs from 2018 now, they feel like glimpses into a past life. A different version of me, a different rhythm, a different home. What was once simply a record of my time in London has taken on new weight, deepened by distance and the passage of time.

The year 2020 scattered many of us away from the people and places we love, and I felt that absence keenly when I thought of my UK-based family and friends then, which led me to publishing these images. Though Vienna has become my home base, these images hold a kind of time travel, pulling me back into moments that feel both distant and deeply familiar. Until my next trip, back to London, back to a place that still feels like home.
