Valeria

Pictures of and for Linz based Austrian designer and artists Valeria Lehner, wearing one of her own designs. With this unique, versatile and tasteful design Valeria's aim was to take something that had the stigma of "disgust" attached to it. She chose to work with the subject of period blood, scanning in stained pieces of paper of cloth, layering the patterns, creating flowery patterns and printing these on her handmade blouse, thereby creating beauty out of the "ugly". As always I am incredibly grateful for artist trusting me with visually presenting their vision and artistry and it was a huge pleasure getting to know and work with Valeria!
