Peter Graf und die Sieben Sünder

Photographing Peter Graf und die Sieben Sünder felt like stepping into a smoky, dimly lit scene from a Tom Waits song—but with an unmistakable Austrian twist. Their music carries that raw, soulful storytelling quality, and to this day, the line „und i drah des Licht goa nimmer auf, weil i des goa nimma brauch, den weg zu nix zu neamt den kenn i blind“ haunts me in the most bittersweet way.

The session was steeped in the vibes of the pub where we created the images—wooden tables, hazy light, and the hum of something timeless in the air. Between frames, the space filled with banter, laughter, and, of course, music. It was a shoot that didn’t just capture faces but moments, moods, and stories waiting to be told.
