I took these self-portraits in an attempt to find that strength in me again to keep pushing and working towards my pre-Covid goals and to come to terms with myself. I had more ups and downs in 2020 than I cared for, facing old issues I had considered dealt with and new ones, posed by a society trying to survive a global pandemic.

‘I guess there’s no better day to post images I took in an attempt to find my way back to myself than on the day of love. Yes it’s important to let our loved ones know how important they are to us and how grateful we are for their support, but arguably above all else we all need to remember to embrace ourselves, too.’
