Joanna Paluch

Some connections weave themselves through time and platforms, growing stronger with every shared moment. I first crossed paths with the marvellous violinist Joanna Paluch years ago—on Tumblr, of all places. As our lives unfolded, our creative paths developed, and our conversations shifted across platforms, we finally met in person: first in London, then in Vienna.

Over time, Joanna hired me for two meaningful sessions. The first was an outdoor shoot, creating press images that reflected her elegance and artistry. The second was a more immersive experience: a three-day photography workshop where I had the joy of guiding Joanna through hands-on lessons in composition, posing, and using available light. On the second day, we dove into editing and color grading, refining the images she had captured. And on the final day, the focus shifted back to her—this time in the studio, where I had the pleasure of photographing her once again.

These sessions felt like a beautiful culmination of years of connection, creativity, and shared passion.
